Best Shopify bundles apps reviewed in 2026
Bundles apps are some of the most popular Shopify apps for increasing average order value (AOV). But most of them look alike on the App Store and promise much the same thing. That makes it hard to tell which one suits your store until you've installed a few.
The differences show up once you start creating a bundle. Only a few apps include build a box, and one leaves out mix and match. Some let AI create a whole bundle for you, while others have no AI features. Pricing differs too, because some apps charge based on usage, such as the revenue your bundles bring in, while others charge a flat fee.
So I installed 8 Shopify bundles apps on a test store and compared their features, pricing and merchant reviews. Below, you'll find what each one does well, where it falls short and the type of store it suits best.
Which Shopify bundles apps made my shortlist?
I selected apps with a rating of 4.6 or higher and new merchant reviews within the last few weeks. These 8 bundle apps made my shortlist:
- Vitals: all-in-one Shopify app with bundles and 40+ apps in one subscription
- Bundler: a flat fee and a free plan with no revenue limit
- Kaching Bundles: quantity break offers with A/B testing
- FBP: Fast Bundle: build-your-own boxes and kits
- Pumper Bundles: quantity offers with a capped price
- Simple Bundles: component SKUs for 3PL and warehouse stock
- Frequently Bought Together: automatic product pairings
- Hulk Volume Discount: wholesale and VIP pricing by customer tag
How did I review the best Shopify bundles apps?
I installed each app on a test store, then went through each App Store listing, every plan and the newest and lowest-rated merchant reviews.
I looked at these details for each app:
- Bundle types: which bundles I could create, such as fixed, mix and match or build a box
- Discounts: which discount types each app offers, such as percentage, fixed amount or BOGO
- AI features: what AI does in each app, such as creating bundles or recommending products
- Placement: where bundles can show, such as the product page, cart or thank you page
- Testing: whether each app includes A/B testing for offers
- Integrations: which cart, subscription, page builder and fulfilment apps it works with
- Setup: how long each app took me to get a bundle live
- Design: how each bundle looked on my test store
- Pricing: how each app charges, its plan limits and what each plan includes
- Reviews: what the newest and lowest-rated App Store reviews say, including about support
I ranked the list by how many types of store each app suits, so the specialist apps come lower down.
What did I find across these Shopify bundles apps?
I found 5 main bundle types across the apps I reviewed. The apps differ on which ones they include:
- Fixed bundles: the same set of products every time, such as a shampoo and conditioner. All 8 apps include them.
- Mix-and-match bundles: shoppers choose from products you pick, such as any 3 candles. I didn't find them in Frequently Bought Together.
- Quantity breaks: a lower price per unit as shoppers buy more, such as 10% off 2 and 20% off 3. All the apps include them except Frequently Bought Together.
- Frequently bought together: related products shown with one button to add them all. All 8 apps include it.
- Build a box: shoppers fill a box step by step, such as a gift box. Bundler, Simple Bundles and FBP include this.
I also found these differences beyond the bundle types:
- AI features: Vitals can create a whole bundle with AI. You can describe the bundle in plain words inside the app, and AI creates the products, discount and text. Or you can create it from Claude or ChatGPT through Vitals MCP. Either way, you review it before it goes live. Kaching can also build a bundle from a description, including from Claude or ChatGPT through MCP, and it uses AI for product recommendations. Frequently Bought Together uses AI for recommendations too. FBP uses it for frequently bought together and bundle images, and Simple Bundles for suggestions from your order history. I didn't find AI features in Bundler, Pumper or Hulk.
- Discounts: all 8 apps offer percentage and fixed amount discounts. All of them also offer BOGO except Frequently Bought Together.
- Placement: all 8 apps show bundles on the product page. Vitals and Simple Bundles also reach the cart, checkout and thank you page. Hulk adds related product upsells on the thank you and order status pages.
- A/B testing: Kaching, FBP and Simple Bundles include it. I didn't find it in the other 5 apps.
- Scheduling and targeting: Vitals and Hulk both let you schedule offers and limit them by country or customer tag.
- Setup: Vitals took me 2 minutes to get a bundle live, the least of the 8. Each of the other 7 apps took 4-5 minutes.
- Design: all 8 apps looked attractive on my test store, so design didn't decide my ranking.
What are the best Shopify bundles apps?
Vitals is my top pick, because it offers product bundles and 40+ more apps in one subscription. So you don't have to install and pay for each app separately. The 7 reviews after it suit stores who only want a bundle feature.
1. Vitals

Vitals is an all-in-one Shopify app for creating fixed, mix-and-match, frequently bought together, same-collection and multi-pack bundles, with 40+ more apps in one subscription. Choose it when you also need reviews, upsells, wishlists or pop-ups and don't want a separate app for each. Its Product Bundles app shows offers in 5 places, from the product page to the thank you page, so a shopper who skips the bundle once can see it again.
Why I like this app:
Vitals gives you 2 ways to build a bundle without picking everything by hand. You can describe it in plain words and let AI create the products, discount and text, or create it from Claude or ChatGPT through Vitals MCP, then review it before it goes live. Setup took me 2 minutes, my fastest. The subscription includes 40+ apps, so you don't pay for each separately, and you pay based on monthly orders, with no usage charges. However, a bundle holds 5 products at most, and bundles don't work with Buy it now buttons.
Features:
- Fixed, mix-and-match, frequently bought together, same-collection and multi-pack bundles
- AI bundle creation from a prompt in your own language
- Vitals MCP, for creating bundles from Claude or ChatGPT
- Amount off, percentage off, fixed price or no discount
- Scheduling and a countdown timer
- Limits by country, customer tag and B2B status
- Volume discounts and free gifts as separate apps in the same subscription
- 40+ apps in the same subscription
Pricing: Vitals charges by monthly orders, with all 40+ apps on every plan:
- Starter: $29.99/month, up to 200 orders
- Growth: $79/month, 201 to 1,000 orders
- Pro: $179/month, 1,001 to 5,000 orders
- Trial: 7 days
Reviews: Vitals has 4.9 stars from 2,975 reviews on the Shopify App Store. Recent reviewers like having many apps together and praise customer support. I had an issue during setup, and the customer success team replied quickly and solved it.
Best for: A store that would otherwise pay for separate bundle, review, wishlist and pop-up apps.

2. Bundler

Bundler is a dedicated bundles app for creating fixed, mix-and-match, quantity break and build-a-box offers. I'd choose it when you want a predictable bill, because its paid plans charge a flat fee and its free plan has no revenue or order limit.
Why I like this app:
I found Bundler's free plan goes furthest, because it's the only one here that includes quantity breaks and Buy X Get Y with no revenue or order cap. Its paid plans stay flat too, at $9.99/month and $19.99/month, so your bill doesn't move as bundle sales grow. My bundle was live in 4-5 minutes. But mix and match needs Premium and bundle analytics need Executive.
Features:
- Quantity breaks, volume discounts and Buy X Get Y on the free plan
- Mix and match, including tiered and sectioned versions, on Premium
- Fixed bundles, multipacks, build a box, gift boxes and subscription boxes
- Custom landing pages and funnel upsells on Premium
- Placement on the product page, cart and cart drawer
- Revenue, order value, conversion and applied discount reports on Executive
I didn't find any AI features in it.
Pricing: Bundler charges a flat monthly fee:
- Free: unlimited revenue and orders
- Premium: $9.99/month
- Executive: $19.99/month
- Trial: 7 days
Reviews: Bundler has 4.9 stars from 2,779 reviews on the Shopify App Store. Recent reviewers call it easy to use, and one was impressed with the free plan. But one merchant found that the bundle types they tried needed a higher plan, and another says it doesn't support the Shopify translation app.
Best for: A single-language store that wants quantity breaks for free or a fixed monthly cost.
See Bundler on the Shopify App Store
3. Kaching Bundles

Kaching Bundles is a popular quantity break and bundle app, with the most reviews of any app here. It makes more sense when you want to test your offers against each other, because A/B testing comes built in.
Why I like this app:
I found A/B testing built in, so you can compare 2 offers on real sales, with a dashboard showing the extra revenue from each. The app took me 4-5 minutes to set up. Merchants in the newest reviews also keep naming the support agent who solved their problem, and one says an agent sent screen recordings showing exactly what to do. The main drawback is the cost. It has no free plan for a live store, and pricing comes up repeatedly in its low-star reviews.
Features:
- Volume discounts on chosen products or collections
- Discounts as a percentage, a dollar amount or a specific price
- Fixed, mix-and-match, multipack, variant and subscription bundles
- AI bundle creation from a description, including from Claude or ChatGPT through MCP
- AI recommendations and frequently bought together
- Free gifts, gift wrap, warranties and shipping protection
- A/B testing and revenue tracking
Pricing: Kaching charges by the additional revenue the app generates:
- Development stores: free
- Starter: $14.99/month, up to $1,000
- Scale: $29.99/month, up to $5,000
- Pro: $59.99/month, up to $10,000
- Up to $20,000: $99/month
- Up to $30,000: $149/month
- Up to $50,000: $199/month
- Over $50,000: $299/month
- Trial: 7 days
Your plan moves up as the app adds more revenue, so check the price for your busiest month before you commit.
Reviews: Kaching has 5.0 stars from 6,626 reviews on the Shopify App Store. Recent reviewers praise support that finds and fixes account issues quickly. One merchant reports over 100 orders with the wrong size variant, which the developer traced to a custom variant picker and says it has fixed.
Best for: A store with steady traffic that wants to A/B test its offers.

4. FBP: Fast Bundle

FBP: Fast Bundle is a bundle and upsell app built around a bundle builder, which creates mix-and-match bundles and custom kits. Choose it when your shoppers build their own boxes or kits.
Why I like this app:
The bundle builder is the main reason I'd pick FBP for kits, and I found it on every paid plan along with AI recommendations. It also has an AI bundle image generator, which I didn't find in any other app here. Setup took me 4-5 minutes. But the cost climbs quickly, to $139/month at $10,000 of bundle sales and $299/month on Enterprise. Reliability is also the repeated theme in its low-star reviews, so test your discounts with your other apps before a sale.
Features:
- A bundle builder for mix and match and custom kits
- Fixed bundles, multipacks, gift boxes and subscription boxes
- Placement on the product page and cart drawer, and in pop-ups
- A/B testing
- BOGO, Buy X Get Y and free gifts
- Volume discounts and quantity breaks
- AI frequently bought together and product add-ons
- An AI bundle image generator
Pricing: FBP charges by monthly bundle sales:
- Development stores: free
- Standard (1K): $19/month, up to $1,000
- Standard (3K): $49/month, up to $3,000
- Standard (10K): $139/month, up to $10,000
- Enterprise: $299/month, no revenue limit
- Trial: 7 days
Auto bundle detection adds another $49/month to any plan.
Reviews: FBP has 5.0 stars from 3,640 reviews on the Shopify App Store. Recent reviewers praise fast replies from named support agents. Low-star reviewers report discounts that stopped applying before sales, and one had orders with no sign that the items were a bundle.
Best for: A gift or kit seller whose shoppers choose what goes in the box.
See FBP on the Shopify App Store
5. Pumper Bundles

Pumper Bundles is a quantity break app that also creates fixed and mix-and-match bundles, multipacks and sample packs. It suits a store that mainly wants quantity offers on a few top sellers, with free gifts and BOGO deals inside each offer.
Why I like this app:
Every plan has the same features, so only the revenue limit changes, and the Unlimited plan caps your bill at $49.99/month. My bundle took 4-5 minutes to set up, and one recent reviewer who tried other apps found Pumper the easiest, with good chat help. However, another says the app deactivated their best-selling offer when they went over the limit. Check what happens at your limit before a big sale.
Features:
- Quantity breaks and volume discounts on specific products
- Free gift and BOGO deals inside quantity breaks
- Discounts per unit, as a percentage or as a flat amount
- Fixed and mix-and-match bundles, multipacks and sample packs
- Frequently bought together
- Placement on the product page and cart drawer
- Page builder and cart drawer integrations
- Revenue tracking
I didn't find any AI features in it.
Pricing: Pumper charges by the extra revenue the app generates:
- Free: up to $300
- Starter: $9.99/month, up to $1,000
- Growth: $29.99/month, up to $5,000
- Unlimited: $49.99/month, no revenue limit
- Trial: 7 days
Reviews: Pumper has 4.9 stars from 3,633 reviews on the Shopify App Store. Recent reviewers mention quick chat help, and one found it the easiest of the apps they tried. One merchant says offers kept applying after they deactivated them, which cost them money.
Best for: A store built around one main product that wants a capped bill for quantity offers.

6. Simple Bundles

Simple Bundles is a bundle and kit app with inventory and fulfilment at its centre. Choose it when you ship through a 3PL or warehouse system, because it breaks each bundle into component SKUs and keeps stock in sync.
Why I like this app:
It's the app I'd pick for stock and fulfilment, because it syncs single-SKU and multi-SKU inventory and connects to 3PL, WMS, ERP, shipping and POS systems. In the reviews, one merchant passes only a parent SKU to their 3PL while tracking stock per warehouse, and had it working the same day. My own bundle took 4-5 minutes to set up. But the free plan's 50-order limit counts all your store orders over a rolling 90 days, so a busy store won't qualify for it.
Features:
- Single-SKU and multi-SKU inventory sync
- Connections to 3PL, WMS, ERP, shipping and POS systems
- Fixed, mix-and-match and build-your-own bundles, plus kits and multipacks
- Gift, mystery, sample and subscription boxes
- Placement on the product page, cart, checkout and thank you page
- A/B testing
- AI bundle suggestions from your order history
- Headless and Hydrogen support on the Plus plan
Pricing: Simple Bundles charges by your Shopify plan and order count:
- Free: 3 bundles and 50 monthly orders
- Basic: $24/month for Shopify Basic, or $14/month under 100 monthly orders
- Grow & Advanced: $39/month
- Plus: $149/month for Shopify Plus
- Trial: none that I could find
Your bundle sales don't change this price.
Reviews: Simple Bundles has 4.9 stars from 827 reviews on the Shopify App Store. Recent reviewers praise replies within minutes. One merchant says the app set their inventory to 0. The developer says saving a bundle starts inventory sync, so test it with a few products first.
Best for: A store that needs bundles to reach its 3PL or warehouse as component SKUs.

7. Frequently Bought Together

Frequently Bought Together is a product recommendation app that shows related items in a one-click bundle widget on product and cart pages. I'd choose it when you want automatic pairings on a large catalogue, using AI, manual or global recommendations.
Why I like this app:
However many orders you get, the price stops at $39.99/month, and I found that all its paid plans include the same features. Low-star reviewers mostly say setup is harder than they expected, but it took me 4-5 minutes. The widget can also show star ratings from Judge.me, Loox, Yotpo and other review apps. The main drawback is its narrow job, because I didn't find quantity breaks or mix and match in it.
Features:
- Fixed bundles and frequently bought together widgets
- AI, manual and global recommendations
- One-click add to cart
- Percentage, fixed, free item and free shipping discounts
- Star ratings from Judge.me, Loox, Yotpo and other review apps
- Analytics and translations on paid plans
Pricing: Frequently Bought Together charges by monthly orders:
- Starter: free, 3 manual bundles at most
- Professional I: $9.99/month, up to 50 orders
- Professional II: $24.99/month, up to 500 orders
- Professional III: $39.99/month, over 500 orders
- Trial: 14 days
It has the longest trial here, which gives you more time to compare results.
Reviews: Frequently Bought Together has 4.9 stars from 1,213 reviews on the Shopify App Store. One recent reviewer has used it for over 6 years, though many recent reviews have little text. Low-star reviewers mostly say that setup was harder than they expected, especially for manual bundles.
Best for: A store with a large catalogue that wants pairings without building each one.
See Frequently Bought Together on the Shopify App Store
8. Hulk Volume Discount

Hulk Volume Discount is a tiered pricing app that also creates bundles, BOGO and Buy X Get Y offers. It makes more sense when you need different prices for different customers, such as wholesale and VIP pricing.
Why I like this app:
Hulk's free plan already includes unlimited active offers and scheduled sales, up to $300 of app revenue. You can also target offers by customer tag or country, and setting up my offer took 4-5 minutes. But it has the lowest rating here, and 2 reviews from October 2026 say discounts stopped showing on product pages. Check your product pages regularly during a sale.
Features:
- Tiered pricing and volume discounts on products, variants or collections
- Fixed, mix-and-match and variant bundles
- Frequently bought together
- BOGO and Buy X Get Y with free gifts
- Placement on the product page, cart, thank you page and order status page
- Offers targeted by customer tag or country
- Scheduled sales and countdown timers
- Cart, shipping and POS discounts
- Bulk discounts with import and export
I didn't find any AI features in it.
Pricing: Hulk charges by the revenue the app generates:
- Free: up to $300
- Basic: $12/month, up to $1,000
- Pro: $27.90/month, up to $5,000
- Business: $40/month, up to $10,000
- Unlimited: $60/month, no revenue limit
- Trial: 7 days
You'll need Pro for bundle discounts, so don't budget for Basic.
Reviews: Hulk has 4.6 stars from 642 reviews on the Shopify App Store. One recent reviewer says 4 out of 5 orders are now bulk buys. Another says discounts occasionally stop displaying and that they waited 17 hours to hear back.
Best for: A wholesale or B2B store that prices by customer tag.

How do you choose the right Shopify bundles app?
I'd choose the app that includes every bundle type you want, at a price that still works as your store grows. I've put each app's rating, starting price and how it charges in this table:
| App | Rating | Starting price | Charges by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vitals | 4.9 from 2,975 reviews | $29.99/month | Orders |
| Bundler | 4.9 from 2,779 reviews | Free, then $9.99/month | Flat fee |
| Kaching Bundles | 5.0 from 6,626 reviews | $14.99/month | Revenue the app generates |
| FBP: Fast Bundle | 5.0 from 3,640 reviews | $19/month | Monthly bundle sales |
| Pumper Bundles | 4.9 from 3,633 reviews | Free, then $9.99/month | Revenue the app generates |
| Simple Bundles | 4.9 from 827 reviews | Free, then $14/month | Shopify plan and orders |
| Frequently Bought Together | 4.9 from 1,213 reviews | Free, then $9.99/month | Orders |
| Hulk Volume Discount | 4.6 from 642 reviews | Free, then $12/month | Revenue the app generates |
Bundle types rule apps out quickly. I didn't find mix and match or quantity breaks in Frequently Bought Together, and only Bundler, Simple Bundles and FBP include build a box. List every type you want to offer, then check that the plan you can afford includes them all.
All 8 apps looked attractive on my test store, but your theme may behave differently. One FBP reviewer's theme needed Liquid code as a workaround, and a Kaching reviewer's custom variant picker caused wrong-size orders. Add a test bundle to your live theme and choose a size and colour before you publish anything.
I'd check your cart drawer, subscription app and page builder against the apps each one works with. For example, Simple Bundles works with ShipStation, FBP with UpCart and Bundler with Seal Subscriptions. Then test a bundle with any discount codes you already run.
I found cost depends mainly on how each app counts. Bundler charges a flat fee, Vitals and Frequently Bought Together follow your orders, and Kaching, Pumper, FBP and Hulk follow bundle revenue or sales. On revenue-based plans, check what happens when you pass a limit, because a reviewer says Pumper switched their offer off. On Bundler's and Hulk's cheaper plans, check what's missing, such as mix and match or bundle discounts.
I found support gets the most praise in recent reviews across these apps, and it also draws some of the sharpest complaints. Kaching, FBP, Pumper and Simple Bundles reviewers often name the agent who helped them. Hulk's low-star reviewers mention slower fixes, sometimes 24 to 48 hours. Send a test question during your trial and time the reply.
Choose Vitals if you'd use its other apps as well. Choose Bundler for a fixed bill and Kaching for A/B testing offers. FBP suits shoppers who build their own boxes, while Pumper suits quantity offers with a capped price. Simple Bundles makes more sense when you ship through a 3PL, Frequently Bought Together when you want automatic pairings and Hulk when you price by customer tag.
How do bundle orders reach your stock and fulfilment?
The apps handle this in 2 main ways, and I found the choice matters most when a warehouse or 3PL packs your orders. Some apps add each bundled product to the order as its own item. Others break a bundle into component SKUs and sync the stock.
Vitals takes the first route. Each product appears as its own line item with the discount named on the order, so Shopify keeps tracking stock per product. You don't set up any bundle SKUs, and your team fulfils each item as normal.
Simple Bundles takes the second route, and it gives you more control. One merchant's review describes passing only a parent SKU to their 3PL while the app pulls stock from the individual units, per warehouse. Another says it took advanced support to get ShipStation and pick slips working, so involve support early with a setup like that.
I also found 2 warnings in the reviews. One FBP merchant says their orders showed no sign of a bundle, so their team packed gift bundles loose. One Simple Bundles merchant says the app set their inventory to 0. Its developer says saving a bundle starts the stock sync, even before you publish it, so a component with no stock can cause this.
Place a test order before you launch. Then check the stock count, the order page and what your packing team or 3PL sees.
How should you price a bundle?
Start with your profit, then set the smallest discount that makes the deal clear. I'd use a fixed amount, such as $10 off, because I found it gives you an exact figure to check against your margin.
Say your serum sells at $60 and costs you $20, and your cream sells at $40 and costs you $15. The serum alone makes $40 profit. A $90 bundle makes $55 profit, so each shopper who takes it adds $15 and a shopper who only wanted the serum pays $30 more. But you'd lose $10 on anyone who would have bought both anyway.
Most of these apps offer both discount types. The exception I found is on Simple Bundles, where one reviewer says build-your-own bundles only take a percentage discount. Its developer says a fixed amount is on its radar. Percentages also get harder when variants vary in price, because the saving changes with each one.
Check your shipping cost too. A heavier parcel can use up part of your $15 of extra profit.
How do these apps handle sizes and colours in a bundle?
Size and colour choice was one of the most serious problems I found in the reviews, because a mistake here reaches the customer. So test it first, especially on clothing or any product with 2 or more options.
One Kaching merchant reports over 100 orders with the wrong size variant, and several hundred dollars in return shipping. The developer traced it to a conflict with the store's custom variant picker and says it deployed a fix. So I'd check a custom picker first on any app.
Building the bundle can also take time. One Simple Bundles reviewer found that every variant shows when you add products, with no select-all option, so one bundle took an hour. The developer says this comes from Shopify's own product picker. Another reviewer on the same app reports variant and cart problems.
On the shopper's side, Vitals gives each product in the bundle its own size and colour dropdown. Shopify's free app has its own limits, as one seller reports reaching an options limit with size and colour across 2 products.
Add a test bundle to your theme and choose a different size and colour for each product. Then check that the same variants reach the cart and the order.
Do bundle discounts work with discount codes?
Check this on your own store, because I found the reviews and the developer disagree. One Hulk merchant says customers couldn't use the volume discount with other discounts, while HulkApps says the app supports them. Another Hulk merchant says the app doesn't work with express checkout.
I didn't find a clear answer for the other 7 apps. Your discount settings in Shopify and any other discount apps can both change the result. One FBP merchant says they had to disable other apps to find conflicts before each sale.
Create a test code and apply it to a bundle in your cart. Then try it through your express checkout buttons. Vitals also notes that its bundles don't work with Buy it now buttons, which send only one product to checkout.
How do you set up your first Shopify bundle?
I'd put your first bundle on your best-selling product, so you have one clear result to measure.
Use these steps with any of the apps:
- Start the trial and check that your plan includes the bundle type you want.
- Choose your best seller and one product that shoppers often buy with it.
- Set a fixed amount off that still leaves you the profit you want.
- Add the bundle to your product page, using the app block if your theme supports it.
- Choose each size and colour on your phone, then add the bundle to your cart.
- Apply a test discount code and place a test order.
- Check the stock count and what your packing team sees.
Setup took me 2 minutes on Vitals and 4-5 minutes on each of the others, but merchants report mixed experiences. One Pumper reviewer found it the easiest of the apps they tried, while a Bundler reviewer found the setup steps complicated and Frequently Bought Together reviewers struggled with manual bundles. Vitals also lets you describe a bundle in plain words, in the app or from Claude or ChatGPT, and review the draft before it goes live.
I'd leave the bundle live for a few weeks before you change the discount, so you can compare your order value against the previous period.
What changes in unusual situations?
I found the cheapest app can change once your sales peak, you sell in more markets, you need a plan-only feature or you move from another app.
I'd look at the capped plans for unusually high or seasonal sales. Bundler stays at $19.99/month or less, Frequently Bought Together stops at $39.99/month, Pumper at $49.99/month and Hulk at $60/month. Kaching keeps rising with the revenue it adds, up to $299/month over $50,000. FBP moves from $139/month at $10,000 of sales to its $299/month Enterprise plan, which has no revenue limit.
When you sell in more markets, I'd check translation first. Vitals and Hulk both show offers by country, and Bundler offers localised bundles. However, one Bundler reviewer says it didn't work with the Shopify translation app, so test this on a market you sell in. Simple Bundles' developer says its app is only available in English, which affects your team more than your shoppers.
Some features only appear on certain plans. Hulk keeps bundle discounts, Buy X Get Y and countdown timers for Pro. Bundler keeps mix and match for Premium and analytics for Executive. One FBP reviewer says lower paid plans felt restricted, although the plans show the same features on each, so check this during the trial.
Moving from another app usually means rebuilding your bundles. Vitals includes migration from other apps on its Pro plan, at $179/month. An FBP reviewer describes rebuilding every bundle on another app over a weekend. So I'd export a list of your offers first, then run the new app alongside the old one before you remove anything.
What are the benefits of a Shopify bundles app?
A bundles app can raise your average order value by getting shoppers to buy more than one product at once. The Vitals Product Bundles app reports a 32% increase in order value on carts with a bundle.
Say you sell a serum at $60 and a cream at $40. A bundle at $90 lifts that order from $60 to $90 for each shopper who takes it, and you've given up $10 of the combined price. I'd only do this when your margin can absorb the discount, so work it out before you set one.
A bundles app can also move more of your slower products, because you can pair one with a best seller. You may also cut your shipping cost per item, since 2 products often go in one parcel. The limit is the app's monthly fee and the time you'll spend setting up and testing each offer.
Before you install an app, work out how many extra bundle orders would pay for its monthly fee.
What are some ideas for using a Shopify bundles app?
I'd try these 5 ideas, which suit different types of store:
- Starter set: a skincare store combines its cleanser, serum and moisturiser for first-time buyers.
- Multi-pack: a coffee or supplements store sells 3 bags at a lower price per bag.
- Build a box: a candle store lets shoppers choose any 3 scents for a gift.
- Complete the look: a clothing store pairs a shirt with the trousers shown in its photos.
- Accessory add-on: an electronics store offers a case and charger with each phone.
I'd test each idea on your best-selling product page, because most shoppers will see it there.
Which Shopify bundles app would I start with?
I'd start with Vitals. It includes 5 bundle types and 40+ other apps on one bill, so you may be able to remove some of the apps you pay for now. Choose Bundler instead when you only want bundles and a fixed cost, or Simple Bundles when your 3PL needs component SKUs. Start the 7-day trial on your best-selling product, then compare your order value before you decide.
What do merchants often ask about Shopify bundles apps?
How much does a Shopify bundles app cost?
Paid plans on these apps start between $9.99/month and $29.99/month, and the top plans I could see reach $299/month. The cost changes with your orders or bundle sales, except on Bundler, which charges a flat fee.
Does Shopify include bundles features without an app?
No, you'll still need an app, but Shopify offers its own for free. Shopify Bundles offers fixed bundles and multipacks. I didn't find mix-and-match bundles in it, and it has a 2.9 rating from 571 reviews.
Are there free Shopify bundles apps?
Yes, I found a free plan for live stores on 5 of these apps. Bundler has no revenue or order limit. Pumper and Hulk stop at $300 of app revenue. Frequently Bought Together allows 3 manual bundles. Simple Bundles allows 3 bundles and 50 orders, counting all your store orders.
Can shoppers mix and match products in a bundle?
Yes, I found mix-and-match bundles on 7 of these 8 apps: Vitals, Bundler, Kaching, FBP, Pumper, Simple Bundles and Hulk. On Bundler, you'll need the Premium plan at $9.99/month.
Which bundles app works best with a 3PL?
I'd choose Simple Bundles, because it breaks bundles into component SKUs and syncs stock with 3PL and warehouse systems. Vitals takes a different route. It adds each bundled product as its own line item, so there are no bundle SKUs to set up.
