Best Loox alternatives reviewed in 2026
Short answer: It depends on why you're leaving Loox. Choose Vitals, at $29.99/month, when you want a product review app with one fixed pricing plan, whose price doesn't increase as your order volume grows. Choose Judge.me when you want video reviews without an order count, with a free plan and a flat $15/month plan. Choose AG Product Reviews when you don't want a monthly bill, because its listing shows it as free. Choose Okendo, from $19/month, when you want loyalty and quizzes in the same account as your reviews.
Loox is a photo and video reviews app that has collected reviews for Shopify stores since 2015, and it turns those customer photos and videos into widgets that sell a product on how it looks. But at $49.99/month for 300 orders, it has the highest paid starting price of these apps, and the bill rises $50 with each extra 300 orders, whether or not those orders bring more reviews.
So I installed 8 Loox alternatives on a test store. Below, you'll find what each one is built for, what it costs as of November 2026 and what you'd give up by moving.
Why do merchants look for a Loox alternative?
Cost is the main reason, and it grows with the store. Most of the complaints I read about price mention scaling or order counts.
The bill climbs faster than the reviews do. In recent reviews from July to October 2026, merchants say Loox is too expensive, especially for low-priced items, and one warns about the monthly cost of scaling. Loox replies that Convert is usage-based and that it has an option for high-volume stores. Vitals fixes this with one fixed plan at $29.99/month, and its price doesn't increase as your order volume grows. Judge.me stays at a flat $15/month, and Rivyo stops counting orders at $19/month.
Bugs and control come up next. One merchant reported in September 2026 that a bug in customer video uploads stayed unresolved after 3 contacts. Another said in August 2026 that reviews published automatically with no way to block spam, and Loox replied that it changed publishing to meet compliance rules. Vitals, Judge.me and Okendo all offer banned words or a profanity filter, but moving won't guarantee fewer bugs, because every app here has bug reports of its own.
The free plan runs out, and it doesn't reset. Beginner stops at 500 total orders after the trial, and then you have to upgrade. It also leaves out video reviews and every AI feature, which all start on Convert. Convert's 300 included orders work out at about 10 orders a day.
These come from 230 of its 10,044 reviews, so most merchants don't report them.
Which Loox alternatives made my shortlist?
I selected apps that do the same job as Loox, with a rating of 4.7 or higher and a new merchant review within the last 12 months. These 8 alternatives made my shortlist:
- Vitals: video reviews and a Loox import in one plan with 40+ apps
- AG Product Reviews: no monthly bill, with discounts for reviews
- Okendo: attribute ratings, with loyalty and quizzes in one account
- Yotpo: Google Seller Rating and retail syndication
- REVIEWS.io: product and company reviews from one invite
- Stamped: a free migration carried out by its team
- Judge.me: unlimited video reviews on a free plan
- Rivyo: unlimited orders and video at $19/month
I've put each app's rating, starting price and how it charges in this table, with Loox first as the baseline:
| App | Rating | Starting price | Charges by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Loox | 4.9 from 10,044 reviews | Free, then $49.99/month | Orders |
| Vitals | 4.9 from 2,974 reviews | $29.99/month | Fixed Price |
| AG Product Reviews | 4.9 from 3,210 reviews | Free | No charge listed |
| Okendo | 4.8 from 1,447 reviews | Free, then $19/month | Orders |
| Yotpo | 4.8 from 4,628 reviews | Free, then $15/month | Orders |
| REVIEWS.io | 4.7 from 779 reviews | Free, then $19/month | Review invites |
| Stamped | 4.7 from 3,746 reviews | $23/month | Orders |
| Judge.me | 5.0 from 48,747 reviews | Free, then $15/month | A flat fee |
| Rivyo | 4.9 from 939 reviews | Free, then $9/month | Orders |
Prices as of November 2026. Developers change them, so check each listing before you choose.
When your order numbers keep growing, compare Vitals, Judge.me and Rivyo first.
How did I review these Loox alternatives?
I installed each app on a test store, then went through each App Store listing, every plan and the newest and lowest-rated merchant reviews. I used Loox as the baseline for each comparison.
I looked at these details for each app:
- Review collection: how it asks for a review, such as email, SMS or a QR code
- Review types: whether it accepts photos, videos, questions and reviews of the store
- Display: which widgets it offers, such as stars, carousels and an all reviews page
- AI features: what AI does in each app, such as summaries, sorting or replies
- Integrations: which email, loyalty and marketing tools it works with
- Setup: how long each app took me to get running
- Design: how each app looked on my test store and whether it matched my theme
- Speed: what one more app adds, because a single app doesn't hurt page speed but many stores have 10 to 15 of them
- Pricing: how each app charges, its plan limits and what each plan includes
- Reviews: what the newest and lowest-rated App Store reviews say, including about support
- Moving: what you can bring across from Loox, such as reviews, photos and referral history
I put Vitals first because of its 40+ other apps, and the order of the other 7 isn't a ranking.
I left out Shopify's own Product Reviews app, because its listing says it isn't currently available.
I don't give speed scores, because they depend on your theme and your other apps. The better test is your own store, and 7 of these apps have a free plan or trial.
What did I find when I compared them with Loox?
These alternatives fall into 3 groups: reviews-first apps (AG Product Reviews, Judge.me), reviews apps with loyalty or other programmes (Okendo, Yotpo, REVIEWS.io, Stamped, Rivyo) and an all-in-one app (Vitals). Some only offer reviews and others include more apps, and I liked the ones with more, because I'd need fewer separate apps.
I found 5 main differences from Loox. The apps differ on which ones they include, so check which you need before you compare prices:
- How the bill grows: Loox adds $50 per 300 orders on Convert. Vitals has one fixed plan that doesn't increase with order volume, Judge.me stays at $15/month, Rivyo stops counting at $19/month, and Okendo, Yotpo and Stamped move through order bands.
- Video reviews: Loox starts them on Convert. Judge.me and REVIEWS.io include them on free plans, Vitals includes them in its one plan, and Rivyo keeps them for Enterprise. AG Product Reviews doesn't list them.
- Q&A: Loox doesn't list it. Judge.me, Okendo, Yotpo, REVIEWS.io, Stamped and Rivyo all offer it, mostly on paid plans. I didn't find it on Vitals or AG Product Reviews.
- Referrals: Loox builds them into Convert. Judge.me adds referral emails on Awesome, Okendo sells referrals from the same account, and Rivyo charges $19/month for them. Yotpo and REVIEWS.io use separate loyalty apps.
- Store reviews: Loox collects them on every plan. Judge.me, Okendo, Yotpo, REVIEWS.io and Rivyo also collect them, and one AG Product Reviews reviewer says it has none.
I also found these differences in how the apps work:
- Reports: Loox tags engagement and conversion tracking. Judge.me compares each stage of review collection, AG Product Reviews shows emails opened and clicked, and Yotpo keeps AI Insights for Premium.
- AI features: Loox has sorting, highlights, summaries, stories, translations and replies on Convert, the widest set for visual reviews. Judge.me adds FAQs drafted from reviews, Okendo adds replies on every plan, and REVIEWS.io adds an AI Widget Builder. Vitals has an AI review summary, and with Vitals MCP you can do everything in Vitals with Claude or ChatGPT. AG Product Reviews has no built-in AI that I could find, but it has an MCP server on every store.
- Setup: almost every app took me 5 to 10 minutes, so setup time shouldn't decide this.
- Design: almost every app was highly responsive, user friendly and customisable on my test store. Stamped's docs ask you to paste its script into
theme.liquid, and REVIEWS.io's app blocks offer basic styling unless you install by code. - Speed: a review app alone won't hurt page speed. But a store also needs apps for bundles, discounts and gifts, and each new one affects it, so the value comes from consolidating them.
What are the best Loox alternatives?
Vitals is my top pick for merchants leaving Loox who also pay for other apps, because its reviews come with 40+ apps in one subscription. AG Product Reviews comes next for stores that don't want a monthly bill. The other 6 suit loyalty programmes, Google visibility, company reviews, a managed move, video on a free plan and a low price with Q&A.
1. Vitals: Best for replacing Loox and your other apps with one subscription

Vitals is an all-in-one Shopify app, and its Product Reviews app is one of 40+ apps in one subscription. I'd choose it when you also pay for bundles, upsells or email marketing and want to remove those bills as well.
Why I like this app:
Import is the first thing I checked, because Vitals offers CSV imports from Loox, with up to 10,000 reviews per file. I also found video reviews, an AI summary, a row of customer media and highlights near the buy button in the same plan. The widget loads from the same script as the other 40+ apps, and I liked that more than the apps with reviews alone. With Vitals MCP, I could do everything in Vitals with Claude or ChatGPT. But there's no free plan.
Compared with Loox:
Vitals includes video reviews and AI summaries on one fixed plan at $29.99/month that doesn't increase with your order volume, where Loox starts both at $49.99/month and adds $50 per 300 orders. You'd give up AI Review Stories, Loox Studio and built-in referrals, which I didn't find on its Product Reviews page.
Features:
- Request emails after fulfilment, purchase or delivery
- Up to 2 reminders to buyers who haven't reviewed
- Photos and videos in reviews
- A discount code emailed after a review
- CSV imports from Loox, Judge.me, Yotpo and Stamped
- AliExpress and Amazon imports with rating and content filters
- Widget layouts in grid, list or slider
- Stars under the product title and on collection cards
- A carousel, an all reviews badge and a Happy Customers page
- An AI review summary with keywords
- Review highlights near the buy button
- Automatic publishing or approval first, with banned words
- Auto-translation into your storefront language
- A Google Shopping feed URL at 50 eligible reviews
- 40+ apps in the same subscription
Pricing: Vitals has one plan, with all 40+ apps included:
- All in one plan: $29.99/month
- Trial: 7 days
Reviews: Vitals has 4.9 stars from 2,974 reviews on the Shopify App Store. One recent reviewer likes having many apps together, and a store on it for almost 6 years says it has gathered reviews with it for years.
Best for: A store that wants to bring its Loox reviews across and drop its separate bundle, upsell or email apps too.
I wouldn't choose it if: You need Q&A on your product pages or SMS review requests. Judge.me's Awesome plan offers both at $15/month.
See Vitals on the Shopify App Store
2. AG Product Reviews: Best for collecting reviews at no cost

AG Product Reviews is a free app for collecting and displaying reviews, made by Avada. Choose it when the monthly bill is the reason you're leaving Loox.
Why I like this app:
The price caught my eye, because the listing shows it as free with no paid plan. In my test, I also found interactive emails, where a buyer can review from inside the email, along with discounts for reviews and send delays by country. Its MCP server connects to an AI assistant on every store, so I could list, approve and reply to reviews that way. However, I didn't find video reviews or Q&A.
Compared with Loox:
AG Product Reviews removes the order count and the monthly charge, the 2 things merchants complain about most on Loox. You'd give up Loox's AI sorting and summaries, along with referrals.
Features:
- Automatic request emails on purchase, fulfilment or delivery
- Interactive emails and photo reminders after a positive review
- Discounts for reviews, with a higher value for photos
- QR codes for each product
- A review box, stars, a carousel, a popup and a sidebar
- Testimonials and an all reviews page
- Pinned reviews, verified badges and bulk moderation
- Imports from AliExpress, CJdropshipping, XLSX files and other apps
- Rich snippets and an XML export for Google Merchant Center
- Klaviyo, Joy, PageFly, PushOwl/Brevo and Shopify Flow
I didn't find any AI features in it, apart from its MCP server and automatic translation of reviews.
Pricing: AG Product Reviews shows no charge on its listing:
- Free: no plan limit shown
- Trial: none listed
Its docs still mention paid plans, so check the price inside the app before you rely on it.
Reviews: AG Product Reviews has 4.9 stars from 3,210 reviews on the Shopify App Store. Recent reviewers often name the live chat agent who set things up for them. One reviewer found no way to preview the widget with a test review.
Best for: A new or small store that wants automatic requests and widgets without paying for them.
I wouldn't choose it if: Your products sell on customer video. Judge.me's free plan includes unlimited video reviews.
See AG Product Reviews on the Shopify App Store
3. Okendo: Best for adding loyalty and quizzes to your reviews

Okendo is a customer marketing platform with connected apps for reviews, loyalty, referrals, quizzes and surveys. It makes more sense when you're paying for several of those separately.
Why I like this app:
Attribute ratings drew me in first, because the form can ask shoppers to score specific qualities of a product. AI replies come on every plan, and Growth adds summaries, keywords and a Q&A widget. I also found a read-only MCP server on Growth, which connects published reviews to Claude and ChatGPT. I liked getting loyalty, quizzes and surveys in the same app, more than the apps with reviews alone. But the step from $19/month at 200 orders to $119/month is steep.
Compared with Loox:
Okendo adds attribute ratings and Q&A, and its importer detects Loox exports automatically. You'd give up Loox's larger free allowance, because Okendo's free plan stops at 50 orders a month.
Features:
- Automated request emails and a smart review form
- Attribute ratings and a rewards engine
- Reviews widget, stars, badge, carousel and reviews tab
- Review grouping, search and auto-publish logic
- AI sentiment analysis and AI replies
- AI summaries and keywords on Growth
- A Q&A widget and media galleries on Growth
- Google Shopping, TikTok Shop and Meta Shops on Growth
- Review campaigns on Power
- Loyalty, referrals, quizzes and surveys from the same account
- Klaviyo, Gorgias, Postscript and Shopify Flow
Pricing: Okendo charges by monthly orders:
- Free: up to 50 orders a month
- Essential: $19/month, up to 200 orders
- Growth: $119/month, up to 1,500 orders
- Power: $299/month, up to 3,500 orders
- Trial: 14 days
Okendo prices loyalty, referrals, quizzes and surveys separately from reviews.
Reviews: Okendo has 4.8 stars from 1,447 reviews on the Shopify App Store. A recent reviewer credits a named team member with strong onboarding and more reviews. Another reviewer says its metafields couldn't be removed and blocked Shopify's Duplicate Product feature.
Best for: A growing brand that wants reviews, loyalty and quizzes from one supplier.
I wouldn't choose it if: You expect hands-on help on a lower plan, because some reviewers say they got docs and webinars. Recent Rivyo reviewers report one-on-one help.
See Okendo on the Shopify App Store
4. Yotpo: Best for established brands that want Google Seller Rating

Yotpo is a long-running reviews and UGC app with Google tools and syndication to retailers. I'd choose it when your store rating in Google matters as much as your product pages.
Why I like this app:
When I checked its Google tools, I found Seller Rating on Pro and Shopping Ads from Starter, which go further than most apps here. A single request can collect a site review after a product review, so I could build up store reviews from the same emails. Premium adds syndication to Walmart, Target and Macy's as a paid add-on. However, Starter moves through 5 price bands from $15/month to $129/month.
Compared with Loox:
Yotpo adds Google Seller Rating and Community Q&A on Pro, and neither appears on Loox's listing. You'd give up AI at a mid-range price, because Yotpo keeps highlights and Smart Filters for its custom-quoted Premium plan.
Features:
- Automatic requests and a template library
- Product and site reviews
- Sentiment and profanity checks
- Photos, video and a reviews carousel from Starter
- Google rich snippets and Shopping Ads from Starter
- Review coupons from Starter
- Google Seller Rating and custom questions on Pro
- An AI reviews summary and smart sorting on Pro
- Community Q&A on Pro
- Social syndication to Facebook, Instagram and TikTok on Pro
- Klaviyo, Gorgias and PageFly
- A connection to the separate Yotpo Loyalty app
Pricing: Yotpo charges by monthly orders:
- Free: up to 50 orders a month
- Starter: from $15/month, up to 99 orders
- Pro: from $119/month, up to 299 orders
The listing says Yotpo may bill external charges separately, and I didn't find a free trial on it.
Reviews: Yotpo has 4.8 stars from 4,628 reviews on the Shopify App Store. Recent reviewers name agents who helped them move reviews to a new site. Others say the AI chat promised a follow-up that never came.
Best for: An established brand that wants Google Seller Rating and plans to use Yotpo Loyalty as well.
I wouldn't choose it if: You want a person on live chat at a small budget, because Yotpo keeps human chat for Premium. Judge.me offers 24/7 human chat on every plan.
See Yotpo on the Shopify App Store
5. REVIEWS.io: Best for product and company reviews together

REVIEWS.io is a reviews platform that collects product and company reviews from one invite. It makes more sense when you send fewer requests than you have orders, because it counts invites.
Why I like this app:
I like that one invite collects a product review and a review of the store, with a public company page behind it. Its AI Widget Builder also styled widgets for me from a prompt, and Google Seller Ratings start at $19/month. One recent reviewer says support moved 398 reviews across for them. But Launch includes 50 invites a month, and every email or SMS request counts as one.
Compared with Loox:
REVIEWS.io charges by the invites you send, so a sale month with many orders doesn't move the price the way it does on Convert. You'd give up managing reviews inside Shopify, because it runs as a separate web app.
Features:
- Product and company reviews
- Automated requests by email and SMS
- Photo and video reviews
- 15+ widgets and a customisable collector page
- An AI Widget Builder
- Two-way sync with the Shop App, even on the free plan
- Review Booster emails to past customers on Launch
- Google Seller Ratings and rich snippets on Launch
- Surveys and NPS on Launch Plus
- An AI Review Summary and Expert Answers Q&A on Launch Plus
- Klaviyo, Attentive, Gorgias and Shopify Flow
Pricing: REVIEWS.io charges by monthly review invites:
- Free: 25 invites a month
- Launch: $19/month, 50 invites
- Launch Plus: $45/month, 500 invites
- Trial: 14 days
Higher plans bill directly outside Shopify, starting with Essentials at $29/month for 300 invites.
Reviews: REVIEWS.io has 4.7 stars from 779 reviews on the Shopify App Store. A long-term reviewer says support got their stars into Google Shopping. Another reviewer reports widget bugs on the Horizon theme on phones.
Best for: A store that wants reviews of the business beside its product reviews and has a Google Seller Rating to build.
I wouldn't choose it if: You want to import your Loox reviews yourself on a low plan. I only found its self-serve import on the direct Start-Up plan at $79/month, while Vitals offers Loox imports in its one plan.
See REVIEWS.io on the Shopify App Store
6. Stamped: Best for a managed move from Loox

Stamped is a reviews and Q&A app with an optional loyalty plan and free migration from your old app. Choose it when you'd rather have a team handle the move.
Why I like this app:
The free migration is why I'd look at Stamped, because its team moves reviews from another app at no charge. I also found Community Q&A, which sends shoppers' questions to past buyers, plus reviews on the thank you page and NPS. Its docs say to paste a script into theme.liquid during setup. One recent reviewer says the team fixed a theme issue quickly. But I didn't find a free plan or trial.
Compared with Loox:
Stamped charges $99/month for up to 1,000 orders, where Loox's Convert reaches $149.99/month at 900. You'd give up Loox's AI summaries and replies, because Stamped's AI focuses on topics and sentiment.
Features:
- In-email review collection and automated requests
- Photo and video reviews
- Coupons and discount codes for reviews
- Stars on product and collection pages
- Community Q&A
- Checkout Reviews on the thank you page
- NPS surveys
- StampedIQ sentiment and topic analysis
- Google Shopping, Seller Ratings and Bing Shopping
- Syndication between stores and to Meta and the Shop App
- Free review migration
- Klaviyo, Attentive, Gorgias and Shopify Flow
Pricing: Stamped charges by monthly orders:
- Reviews: $23/month, up to 200 orders
- Reviews (1k): $99/month, up to 1,000 orders
- Reviews (5k): $199/month, up to 5,000 orders
- Reviews (20K): $399/month, up to 20,000 orders
At the limit, requests queue until you upgrade or the month resets.
Reviews: Stamped has 4.7 stars from 3,746 reviews on the Shopify App Store. Long-term stores praise support for help with themes and migration. Another reviewer left after review requests stopped sending for months.
Best for: A store with a large Loox history that wants the team to carry out the migration.
I wouldn't choose it if: You want to export your own reviews whenever you like, because a full export goes through support. Judge.me offers CSV export on its free plan.
See Stamped on the Shopify App Store
7. Judge.me: Best for unlimited video reviews at a flat price

Judge.me is a reviews app with unlimited product and store reviews on its free plan. I'd choose it when order-based pricing is your main reason for leaving Loox.
Why I like this app:
Its free plan surprised me, with unlimited reviews, photos, videos and requests at no charge. Awesome then adds reminders, coupons, SMS, Q&A and AI replies at $15/month, and the site says that's the most you can ever pay. I also found that reviews imported from Loox can be verified automatically. However, recent reviewers say settings are hard to find and simple edits need a support ticket.
Compared with Loox:
Judge.me puts video on the free plan and holds its paid plan at $15/month, the lowest fixed price here for leaving Loox's order pricing. You'd give up Loox Studio and the visual sorting that puts the best photos first.
Features:
- Unlimited product and store reviews
- Unlimited photo and video reviews
- Requests after fulfilment or delivery, with QR codes
- Imports from Loox, Yotpo, Amazon, AliExpress and Etsy
- Review widget, stars, carousels and a trust badge
- Google rich snippets
- Reminders, coupons and SMS on Awesome
- Q&A and a Happy Customers page on Awesome
- An AI review summary, AI replies and AI auto-publish on Awesome
- Google Shopping, TikTok Shop and Meta on Awesome
- Referral emails after checkout on Awesome
- 130+ integrations on Awesome, including Klaviyo and Gorgias
Pricing: Judge.me charges a flat fee:
- Free: unlimited reviews and requests, with no order limit
- Awesome: $15/month
- Trial: 15 days
Its email marketing is a separate app with its own pricing.
Reviews: Judge.me has 5.0 stars from 48,747 reviews on the Shopify App Store. One recent reviewer got a star rating fixed within 15 minutes on the free plan. Others complain about having to use AI chat before they reach a person.
Best for: A store of any size that wants video reviews and doesn't want its order count to set its price.
I wouldn't choose it if: Your Google Shopping stars depend on imported reviews. Judge.me needs 50 eligible reviews and excludes most imports, so stay on Loox until you've collected enough new ones.
See Judge.me on the Shopify App Store
8. Rivyo: Best for a low price with Q&A and store reviews

Rivyo is a reviews app with Q&A, store reviews and optional loyalty and referral add-ons. It suits a store that wants a long feature list for less than Loox's entry price.
Why I like this app:
Rivyo's top plan is what I'd point to, with unlimited orders, unlimited video and AI replies on Enterprise at $19/month. Q&A, store reviews and a smart review form start at $9/month. It names Loox among its import sources, with no cap on those imports. One recent reviewer got one-on-one help matching their theme. However, you'll need Enterprise for video, and the lower plans cap how many orders get a request.
Compared with Loox:
Rivyo costs $19/month at any order count, against $299.99/month for Loox's Unlimited. You'd give up Shop App and TikTok sync, which Rivyo marks as coming soon.
Features:
- Unlimited product reviews and CSV import and export on every plan
- Imports from Loox, Judge.me, Stamped and Yotpo
- Amazon, AliExpress and Etsy imports with limits by plan
- Unlimited Q&A and store reviews from Starter
- Reminder emails and a smart review form from Starter
- Review rewards and QR codes from Business
- Unlimited video reviews and AI Review Autopilot on Enterprise
- Reviews at checkout for Plus stores on Enterprise
- Google rich snippets and advanced analytics on every plan
- Klaviyo, Slack, PageFly, GemPages, Recharge and Appstle
Pricing: Rivyo charges by monthly orders:
- Free: 100 orders a month
- Starter: $9/month, 500 orders
- Business: $14/month, 1,000 orders
- Enterprise: $19/month, unlimited orders
- Trial: 7 days
Customer Loyalty costs $29/month and Referral Rewards $19/month on any plan.
Reviews: Rivyo has 4.9 stars from 939 reviews on the Shopify App Store. Recent reviewers praise support, including a quick fix for a widget loading bug. Another reviewer got stuck on a verifying message with no reviews showing, and Rivyo's developer says that relates to an older version.
Best for: A budget-conscious store with high order numbers that wants video and Q&A at one low price.
I wouldn't choose it if: You need replies you can count on, because some reviewers mention unresponsive support. AG Product Reviews' recent reviewers often name the agent who helped them.
See Rivyo on the Shopify App Store
How do you choose between Loox and these alternatives?
Start with the reason you're leaving, then check that the app you choose fixes it at a price you can pay. These 5 checks will narrow the list.
The first check is whether the app fixes the problem that's making you leave. When cost is the problem, compare the price at your own order count. When you're missing a feature such as Q&A, check which plan includes it, because Okendo starts it on Growth at $119/month and Judge.me on Awesome at $15/month.
Then look at the Loox features you'd lose. I didn't find a match for AI Review Stories or Loox Studio on these apps, so check whether you used them last month before you count them as a loss.
Your theme comes next. Almost every app was highly responsive, user friendly and customisable on my test store. With Vitals and REVIEWS.io, I could also ask an AI tool and it built the result for my store. Check Stamped's script step and REVIEWS.io's styling limits, then open each widget on your phone.
The rest of your store matters too. Loox works with Klaviyo and Omnisend, so check any flows you've built on its triggers. Okendo, Yotpo, REVIEWS.io, Stamped and Judge.me's Awesome plan add Gorgias, and Rivyo lists the longest set of page builders and subscription apps.
Support is the last check. Merchants often name the agents who helped them on AG Product Reviews and Stamped, and the sharpest complaints I read are about AI-first support on Yotpo. When setup problems came up in my test, a few customer success teams fixed them within minutes, while others took hours to reply. Send a test question during your trial and time the answer.
Choose Vitals if you want one fixed plan that doesn't increase with your order volume and you'd use its other apps as well. Choose Judge.me if you only need reviews. Choose AG Product Reviews if you want no bill, and Okendo if you want loyalty in one account. Stay on Loox if you use its AI and referrals and your order count stays low.
Will a Loox alternative cost you less?
It depends on the app and your order count. AG Product Reviews, Rivyo and Judge.me cost less than Convert at every paid volume. But Okendo and Stamped cost more at 300 orders, at $119/month and $99/month against Loox's $49.99/month.
Loox charges by orders, and so do most of the others. The difference is the size of the steps. Rivyo stops at $19/month, Judge.me never moves from $15/month and AG Product Reviews shows no charge. But the free and low-cost plans leave things out. Rivyo needs Enterprise for video, and AG Product Reviews doesn't list it.
Say your store has 900 orders a month. Convert costs $149.99/month, which is $49.99 plus 2 steps of $50.These alternatives cost:
- AG Product Reviews: no charge shown
- Rivyo: $14/month on Business, without video
- Judge.me: $15/month
- Stamped: $99/month
- Okendo: $119/month
- Yotpo: $129/month on Starter
REVIEWS.io counts invites, so its price depends on the requests you send. Vitals has one fixed plan at $29.99/month, which doesn't increase with your order volume.
Over 2 years, Convert at 300 orders costs about $1,200. I didn't find annual billing for Loox, which bills every 30 days with no commitment. Judge.me's Awesome plan costs $360 over the same 2 years, and AG Product Reviews shows no charge at all.
Before you compare prices, ask each developer what counts as an order, especially when you also sell through marketplaces.
What happens to your Google Shopping stars when you leave Loox?
You may lose them for a while, because imported reviews often don't count toward a new app's Google feed. Loox sends reviews to Google Shopping on Convert, so this matters when those stars bring you traffic.
Judge.me needs 50 eligible reviews and excludes reviews imported from most sources, and reviewers who moved from Okendo and Yotpo say they lost their stars. Vitals gives you a feed URL at 50 eligible reviews and leaves out AliExpress and Amazon imports. Stamped also asks for at least 50 reviews, and REVIEWS.io shows imports as third-party reviews unless their order IDs match.
Ask the new app which of your Loox reviews will count, then keep Loox's feed running until your new count reaches the minimum.
Do you lose your referral programme when you leave Loox?
Yes, you'll need to rebuild it, because I didn't find an import for referral history on any of these apps. Loox runs on-site, post-purchase and post-review referrals on Convert.
Okendo is the closest match, with referral flows and fraud protection in the same account. Rivyo adds referral links and rewards for $19/month, Judge.me sends referral emails on Awesome and Stamped includes referrals in its loyalty plan. Yotpo and REVIEWS.io use separate loyalty apps, and I didn't find referrals on AG Product Reviews.
Check how many orders your referrals brought in last quarter before you decide whether to rebuild the programme.
When does it make sense to stay on Loox?
I'd stay on Loox if customer photos sell your products, your order count stays low and you use its AI tools. I didn't find a match on the other apps for some of what it does with visuals.
Its AI Review Stories and smart visual sorting exist to put your best visuals first. Referrals come in the same app on Convert. It also syncs with the Shop App in both directions and sends reviews to Google Shopping, Meta and TikTok Shop, while Loox Studio turns reviews into social posts.
Convert costs $49.99/month for 300 orders, and the free plan ends at 500 total orders. At 1,800 orders, Convert reaches the same price as Unlimited, at $299.99/month. See Loox on the Shopify App Store.
Before you leave, check which of those features you'd miss most, and confirm the new app has it on the plan you'd buy.
How do you move from Loox to another app?
Your reviews move across easily, but your referral programme, email flows and settings don't. Loox exports product and store reviews as a CSV from Manage Reviews.
I'd export these from Loox before you change anything:
- Product and store reviews, with their photos and videos
- Review request and reminder settings
- Discount codes for photo and video reviews
- Product groups
- Your referral programme and its history
Vitals, Judge.me, Okendo and Rivyo all name Loox as an import source. Stamped's team handles the move for free. AG Product Reviews and Yotpo offer imports from other apps, but I didn't find Loox named, and REVIEWS.io offers a self-serve custom CSV import on its direct plans.
Use these steps with any of the apps:
- Export your reviews from Loox.
- Install the new app on its free plan or trial, and set it up on a copy of your theme.
- Import your reviews, then check a few photos and dates by hand.
- Set up the same request email you have on Loox, so you're comparing like with like, then check it on your phone.
- Upgrade only if it does the job, then publish the theme.
- Remove Loox and any code it left behind, such as its
global_html_bodyline intheme.liquid, before your next billing date.
Installing is the quick part, at 5 to 10 minutes on almost every app. Checking your imported reviews takes longer, and merchants report mixed moves. A 2021 Rivyo review says only 660 of 1,960 reviews came across, and one REVIEWS.io reviewer lost their Verified badges. On the other side, Judge.me's reviewers often describe a quick migration.
Keep your Loox export for at least 3 months, and watch new reviews in the new app for a full month before you rely on it. Loox keeps your data after you uninstall, and deleting it takes a support request.
What changes in unusual situations?
The right app can change at very high volume, across several stores, on plan-only features or with a large review history.
At unusually high or seasonal order volumes, check what happens at the limit. Judge.me and Rivyo's Enterprise don't count orders at all, and Loox's Unlimited costs $299.99/month. Stamped reaches 20,000 orders at $399/month and queues requests at its limit. Yotpo moves you to the next band, so a sale month can raise your price.
With several stores or markets, look for syndication between stores. Judge.me offers it on Awesome, Stamped lists it and Yotpo keeps multi-store for Premium. When you sell in several languages, Vitals auto-translates reviews into your storefront language, Judge.me includes it on Awesome and one AG Product Reviews reviewer says it only translates automatically, with no manual edits.
Some features only appear on certain plans. Rivyo keeps video and AI for Enterprise, and Okendo keeps Q&A and AI summaries for Growth. REVIEWS.io keeps AI summaries for Launch Plus, and Yotpo keeps Google Seller Rating for Pro.
A headless store narrows the list. Okendo supports headless, Rivyo offers it on Enterprise, Yotpo works through its API and REVIEWS.io needs its Plus plan for Hydrogen. A large history matters too, because Vitals imports up to 10,000 reviews per file and one Stamped reviewer hit a cap of 5,000 per upload. A Loox merchant reports that an import of 600 reviews took about 4 hours, so split a big file and allow extra time.
Which Loox alternative would I start with?
I'd start with Vitals, because the reviews come with 40+ other apps in one subscription, so you can remove more than the Loox bill. Choose Judge.me when reviews are the only app you need, and AG Product Reviews when you want no bill at all. Stay on Loox if you use its AI and referrals at a low order count. Install your 2 finalists, set up the same request email and widget on a copy of your theme, then compare what shoppers see and how many changes you had to make.
What do merchants often ask about Loox alternatives?
Is there a free alternative to Loox?
Yes, AG Product Reviews and Judge.me are the 2 strongest free options. AG Product Reviews shows no plan limit, and Judge.me's free plan includes unlimited reviews and requests with no order limit. Rivyo's free plan resets at 100 orders a month, Okendo's and Yotpo's at 50 orders a month and REVIEWS.io's at 25 invites a month.
How much does Loox cost in 2026?
Loox has a free plan up to 500 total orders, and paid plans start at $49.99/month. Convert includes 300 orders and adds $50 per additional 300 orders, and Unlimited costs $299.99/month. Convert and Unlimited both come with a 14-day trial.
Is Loox a good app?
Yes, Loox is a good app for visual reviews, with 4.9 stars from 10,044 reviews and the widest AI set I found for photos and videos. An alternative makes more sense when your order count pushes Convert past about $100/month and you don't use those AI tools.
Does Loox have Q&A?
No, I didn't find Q&A on Loox's listing, tags or pricing. Judge.me offers it at $15/month and Rivyo at $9/month, and Okendo, Yotpo, REVIEWS.io and Stamped offer it too.
Can you move your reviews from Loox to another app?
Yes, Loox exports reviews as a CSV, and Vitals, Judge.me, Okendo and Rivyo all name Loox as an import source. Stamped's team moves reviews for free. Your referral history and any email flows built on Loox triggers stay behind.
Do Loox alternatives slow down a store?
One review app on its own won't, but the total can, because many stores run 10 to 15 apps and each adds to the load. Vitals surprised me here, because its 40+ apps share one script, so I can turn any of them on or off without worrying about load time. Merchants have blamed Stamped for slow rating widgets, so test any app on your own store before and after you install it.
